GoodFuels and Renewable Energy Group are joining forces to a more sustainable shipping future

26-10-2021 | GoodFuels and Renewable Energy Group (REG), both members of the Platform, have entered a long term agreement for the supply and development of sustainable marine biofuel solutions for the global shipping industry. Together, they want to lead the way for a more sustainable shipping industry.

Both organisations are member of the Platform and aim at reducing emissions by delivering and stimulating cleaner fuels while meeting growing global demand of different sectors. Renewable Energy Group is a global producer and supplier of renewable fuels like biodiesel and renewable diesel, renewable chemicals and other products. GoodFuels' goal is to create a better world by accelerating the energy transition in marine and rail/road transport segments for which biofuels are one of the best or only viable alternatives in the foreseeable future.

With REG’s expertise in biofuels and GoodFuels’ pioneering strengths, both companies are playing an important role in enabling the decarbonisation efforts for shipping companies.
