Instruments for renewable fuels in international shipping
Port of Rotterdam hosts an expert meeting in which international experts discuss and exchange views on necessary instruments to be applied at EU and/or IMO level to accelerate the deployment of renewable fuels in the international shipping sector.
The event is organised by the Netherlands Platform Sustainable Biofuels and the ART Fuels Forum (an EC supported initiative in which industry and other stakeholders investigate the market and regulatory issues of alternative and renewable transport fuels). The purpose of the meeting is to draw up in a co-creation workshop a set of possible instruments to enhance the deployment of renewable fuels in international shipping.
