Mass balance on interconnected infrastructure

The Platform is conducting a market research on mass balance rules on interconnected infrastructure for RVO. The aim of this project is to gather insights on the application of mass balance rules when supplying renewable fuels via interconnected infrastructure (gas pipelines, kerosene pipeline network) to comply with RED targets and REFuel Aviation, in the Netherlands as well as in other EU Member States.

As part of the project, the Platfom is organising a workshop to discuss this topic with Platform members. The aim of the workshop is to 1) validate our insights, 2) map out specific supply chains situations where gas or kerosene pipeline networks are involved and 3) collect experiences from the market on possible bottlenecks and how the system could be improved.
