Workshop
Hydrothermal liquefaction: Enhanced performance and feedstock flexibility for efficient biofuel production?
The HyFlexFuel Team is organising a virtual final public workshop on 21st and 22nd September 2021.
Results of the EU funded research project “Hydrothermal liquefaction: Enhanced performance and feedstock flexibility for efficient biofuel production” (HyFlexFuel) will be presented at the event.
In its invitation the event is described as follows:
"The Workshop is open to the general public and its participation is free of charge. The program includes presentations by HyFlexFuel partners and invited keynote speakers. This event is a great occasion to meet the researchers of the project and ask questions. It aims to stimulate discussions and share ideas between all the participants, including industry partners, stakeholders, students and the media & press."
In the event, among others the following sessions will be held:
September 21st: Focussing on HTL technology and project results
- 14:45 (Session 1): HTL of various organic feedstock & utilisation of residual product phases
- 16.10 (Session 2): Upgrading of HTL biocrudes to transportation fuels
September 22nd: Focussing on HTL deployment and perspectives
- 14.40 (Session 3): e.g. Analysis of HTL product phases and quantification of European biomass potential and identification of HTL preference regions.
- 16.10 (Session 4): e.g. EU climate and energy policies and R&I for biofuels and bioenergy under HE and Industrial Panel: Commercialisation of HTL technology and its future role for advanced biofuels production.
